Despite a slower than expected start, Warroad ends up taking control of game 1.
The first game of The Tourney 24 was in the end dominated by a very good Warroad boys hockey team. The final was 8-1 but New Ulm did hang around longer than most expected. For Warroad Murray Marvin-Cordes was on fire, he contributed 3 goals and 2 assists in the win. But the talk of the game is the Michigan goal by team-mate Dominic Anthony, he ended the game with 2 goals. Warroad improves to 24-5 and will play the winner of Northfield/St. Cloud Cathedral on Friday @ 11:00.
