Hot AA teams to start the year.

Chanhassen storm

The storm have shown many promising signs that they indeed could be strong contenders. They have proved to be able to compete at a high level with the other big teams. Chan has many guys who if you look away for one second they will make you pay. Gavin Uhlenkamp seems to be the main guy they want to get the puck to, with just recently hitting a milestone marker of his 100th point he is most definitely a force to be reckoned with. If I were another team I would watch out for the storm they have proven they can be dangerous and can make you pay.

Edina Hornets

The Hornets have an interesting story if you are from Edina you love your team and only that team, But if you are from pretty much anywhere else you hate them with all your might. But behind all of the stigma the Hornets are a very good hockey team and they have showed that in many ways. Edina started out hot cruising to victory over many tough teams such as Maple Grove and Moorhead, They started the season out 4-0-0 until they played BSM but ever sense then they have started a hot streak again. Edina is a great hockey team with many guys who play great hockey and I am looking forward to seeing them progress through out the year

lakeville South

The Lakeville South Cougars aren’t setting the ice on fire, but they’re quietly piling up wins. They’re not flashy or loud, just steady and smart. They play their roles, make good decisions, and frustrate the other team. Defense is their bread and butter – they don’t give up much, and when they do, it’s not because they’re messing up.

They’re hungry, though. They’ve tasted success before, and they want more. But they don’t scream about it – they let their wins do the talking. The season’s a long road, and who knows what’s ahead? But right now, the Cougars are quietly proving they belong, stacking wins one by one. They’re not fancy, but they’re getting the job done.

Minnetonka Skippers

The Skipper have been setting the score sheets on fire so far this season, After winnning the state championship last year and have most of their team return it seem no surprise that they are doing great things.  Shutting out four of their first six opponents Tonka seems to have no issues with their Defense or goaltending. After beating a tough Chanhassen team 3-2 in overtime they have proven time and time again that they are indeed one of the best teams this year and I am excited to see what happens.
