The rumor mills are churning after Alex Bump commits to Western Michigan, that the University of Minnesota mens hockey team will bring in Jimmy Clark for the upcoming season.  Clark from Edina MN was drafted in the 7th round by the MN Wild last spring, and according to Judd Bracket of the MN Wild he is a high energy two way center with a heavy shot.  This would be great news for the Gophers if he shows up this year.
His Elite Prospect scouting report says “Clark doesn’t just advance the puck to open teammates; he creates those openings with fake shots and look offs before slipping pucks through traffic. With a quick fake, he pulls defenders towards him and dekes through them. Where many offload the puck, he waits a split-second to find a better option. And he pulls off all these plays at top speed”
