Minnesota Girls High School Hockey playoffs 2-15-2023

Girls Hockey playoffs are winding down and the section finals are happening, last night there were 4 games played, (2 semi-finals and 2 finals)

In section 6AA semi-final action it was Blake dominating Armstrong/Cooper 8-0.  Blake will now play Edina who beat Benilde St. Margartes 5-1. In their only head to head game this season Blake pulled off a 1-0 victory on 1-17-2023 despite getting outshot 36-11.

In the section 7A championship game it was the Proctor/Hermantown Mirage getting the 5-4 win over a pesky Duluth Marshall team.  Proctor/Hermantown heads back to the state tournament once again.

The Section 3AA championship was one for the ages, it took 2 overtimes and 42 shots on goal for Sophie Stramel to net the game winner for her Rosemount team.  They will head to the state tournament next week, congrats girls.  Video of the game winner here!
