Willmar built an early lead and never let up in a 7–1 win at First Bank and Trust Ice Arena in Princeton. Gibson Horyza led the way with a hat trick and an assist, while Luke Larson finished with a goal and five assists. Eli Hagen added a goal and two assists, and Aden Jacobson recorded four assists.
In net, Eli Ewert stopped 35 of 36 shots for Willmar. Becker/Big Lake’s lone goal came from Carter Tatge midway through the second period.
Marshall 7, Worthington 3
Marshall pulled away for a 7–3 win over Worthington. Marshall controlled the game offensively, scoring in all three periods to secure the victory on the road.
Prairie Centre 6, Redwood Valley 3
Prairie Centre scored six times to knock off Redwood Valley 6–3 at Sauk Centre Civic Arena. Prairie Centre used a strong middle frame to take control and finished the game with consistent pressure.
Grafton/Park River (N.D.) 5, Crookston 4
Grafton/Park River edged Crookston 5–4 in a back-and-forth game at Centennial Center in Grafton. Noah Troftgruben scored twice in the third period, including the game-winning goal, to complete the comeback.
Crookston was led by Grant Funk and Jay Reese, who each scored twice. Kaisin Twamley made 24 saves for Grafton/Park River.
Northern Edge 7, Mora/Milaca 5
Northern Edge held off Mora/Milaca 7–5 at Mora Civic Center. Riley Dufour had a four-goal night to pace the offense, while Paul Wolters added a goal and an assist.
Mora/Milaca received two goals from Ty Stanchfield and three points from Jacob Szucs, but Northern Edge closed the game with two late goals, including an empty-netter.
Luverne 9, Windom 1
Luverne rolled to a 9–1 win over Windom at Windom Arena, scoring five times in the first period. Mallachi Domagala and Maddux Domagala each finished with two goals, while Benjamin Hartquist added two goals and two assists.
Gavin Hoven stopped eight of nine shots for Luverne. Windom’s lone goal came early in the third period from Nash Dietz.
