Shakopee Shuts Out Holy Family, Punches Ticket to First-Ever State Tournament
The Shakopee Sabers made history with a 4-0 victory over Holy Family in the Section 2AA Championship, securing their first-ever trip to the Minnesota State Hockey Tournament. A dominant performance from goaltender Owen Lunneborg, who recorded a 24-save shutout, helped propel the Sabers to the monumental win.

First Period
Shakopee wasted no time setting the tone, as Zach Docteur opened the scoring at 8:18 off an assist from Peyton Chase. The Sabers extended their lead on the power play, with Jack Kultgen burying a goal at 14:23, assisted by Cooper Siegert.
