Moorhead Dominates Bemidji to Secure Section Title

Moorhead is heading back to the Minnesota State Tournament after a commanding 8-1 victory over Bemidji in the Section 8AA Championship. The Spuds wasted no time setting the tone, scoring just eight seconds into the game and never looking back.

  • First Period: Moorhead jumped out to an early 3-0 lead, with Evan Wanner scoring just :08 into the game, followed by Zac Zimmerman and another tally from Wanner later in the period. The Spuds controlled the pace, outshooting Bemidji 8-5.
