This Section 6AA matchup is set for tonight, With BSM coming into the game off of a long week of a break as they are the one seed. BSM has been having a great season so far with only three losses. They come into this game with a record of (23-3-2) that is a very memorable record for the players. RAC on the other hand has been having a solid but not the best possible season, sporting a decent record just under 500 of (10-14-2). They have had thier up and downs all through out the season they should come out fired up in this one after their 3-2 win over Bloomington Jefferson. With BSM looking Great all season and dominating their competition we will say they will most likely come out on top in this one.
Rosemount and Apple valley are set to play in a highly anticipated section final tonight, this game features two teams who have faced much adversity this season with both team coming into this one with 9 losses. Apple Valley has just the slightly better record they are sitting at (16-9-2) while their opponent the Irish have a decent record of (13-9-5). After both teams coming off of a one goal game in their section semi-final games they should e ready for anything. based on extensive research Apple Valley will be the team who most likely punches their ticket to the X.
The stage is set and the bright lights are on for this section 5A championship matchup, with the #1 seed Orono and the #2 seed Mound Westonka. Both teams are coming into this game with less than ten losses, that is very impressive for highschool. Orono comes into this game on a tear with a 4 game winning streak, they have been playing some great hockey as of lately and overall have just been dominant. While Mound on the other hand has been playing some good hockey this year has not been the most dominant team in hockey. But with how dominant Orono has been all year we think they will come out with the win in this one.
This Class AA matchup is a big one, a decent rivalry game. It seem like these two play each other every year, With Moorhead dominating all year with only two losses they have a great chance to play in the tourney this year. But on the other hand Roseau playing great hockey right now and just overall a solid team. The Rams come into this game with ten losses exactly. with how dominant this Spuds team has been we will take them in this one.
Trojans vs the Hornets how many time have we heard that, this is a big rivalry neighborhood game. Every year this is always a big game both teams giving all they have. Wayzata has not been the greatest this season with a record of (7-17-2). Edina comes into this game hot carrying a very impressive record of (19-6-1) also bringing a top ten ranking. Each team knows what each other is about and is getting ready for this one. as much as we like a good upset we will have to go with the Edina Hornets in this one.
