Last night in the boys Minnesota high school hockey playoffs we saw 2 teams advance and 2 teams season’s come to an end.  In the first game it was Fairmont’s Luke Kester and Nate Rakness with 2 goals each to lead the Cardinals to a 7-5 playoff win.  Fairmont will now play #1 seed New Ulm Eagles 2-23-2023 at 7:00.

In the second game it was Windom dominating all aspects of the game vs Redwood Valley.  Windom got the win 6-0 and outshot RV 61-10.  They will now face the #2 seed in section 3A the Luverne Cardinals.  Luverne has beaten Windom twice already this season.
