Northfield 3, Monticello 2 (OT)

Northfield battled back from an early deficit and closed the night with an overtime winner to take down Monticello 3–2.

Monticello jumped out front just 32 seconds in when Ashton Stoll scored off the opening rush. After Northfield tied the game early in the second, Monticello answered quickly with a goal from Nicklas Nelson to regain the lead. Northfield evened the score again before the period ended, sending the game to a scoreless third.

The winner came at 4:38 of overtime when Jacob Peters found space in front and buried the deciding goal.

Tartan 5, Northern Edge 3

Tartan carried the play from the opening faceoff and used two shorthanded goals to pull away from Northern Edge in a 5–3 win.

Tyler Pavel scored twice in the first period to put Tartan ahead 2–0. Northern Edge responded with a strong second, tying the game on goals from Hunter Sanders and Riley Dufour. Tartan answered with two late-period goals, including a shorthanded finish from Benny McClellan, to regain control.

Joshua Markfort tacked on another shorthanded goal early in the third, giving Tartan enough separation to close things out.

Roseville 8, Chaska 3

Roseville put together one of the strongest offensive games of the night, piling up eight goals in a convincing win over Chaska.

Garrett Hites scored twice in the opening period, and Roseville built a 3–0 lead after one. The pressure continued into the second, with Nolan Twardowski and Jamal Wamah extending the lead before Chaska answered late to make it 5–1.

Roseville added three more in the third, including a power-play goal from Grant Jakaboski and a third tally from Hites to complete his hat trick.

Stillwater carried the pace from the start and spread the scoring across all three periods in a 6–2 win over Park of Cottage Grove.

Michael Belde scored twice in the first period, and Joe Howe added another to push Stillwater ahead early. Park cut the lead to 3–2 in the second on a goal from Nick Bailey, but Stillwater quickly answered with goals from Belde, Tyson Miller, and Beckett Fredenberg to take full control.

Teague McGlynn added a power-play goal early in the third to finish the scoring.
