MN Boys High School Hockey Section 6A preview

#1 seed is St Cloud Cathedral, overall record of 20-3-1.  They were the preseason pick to repeat as class A champs this season.  They went 6-1 against AA schools this year and play arguably the toughest schedule of any class A team.  Leading goal scorer is Blake Perbix with 27 goals and 74 points, goalie Grant Marin has 19 of the 20 wins and a save percentage of .888.

#2 seed Alexandria, they might be the best team in this section not name St Cloud Cathedral, they end up at 17-8 with nice wins against Delano, St Cloud, Little falls and Duluth Denfeld.  Leading goal scorer is Caleb Strong, 25 goals and 46 points, Landyn James is the leading goalie with 10 Wins and a .917 save percentage.

#3 seed is Little Falls with a record of 18-6-1.  They pulled off wins against Monticello, Sartell and Princeton and tied Thief River Falls.  The leading scorer is Ryan Buckallew with 20 goals and Dane Couture is in the net with 18 wins and a .907 save percentage.

#4 seed is River lakes, overall record of 14-10-1, they had wins against Sartell, Little Falls and Fergus Falls, the leading scorer is Logan Stellmach with 17 goals & 34 assists, and in net is Drew Tangen with a .937 save percentage.

#5 seed is Fergus Falls, #6 seed is Sartell, #7 is Morris/Benson, #8 Breckenridge, #9 Prairie Center and #10 is Wadena-Deer Creek.

FTP prediction is a section championship game between Alexandria and St. Cloud Cathedral, with SCC winning.
